It was the successor of the Mercedes 28/95 PS. 1926Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft (DMG) merges with Benz & Cie. to form Daimler-Benz AG. From now on, the company's cars are sold under the Mercedes-Benz name. The Mercedes 24/100/140 PS is now called Mercedes-Benz 24/100/140 PS Type 630, or simply the Mercedes-Benz Type 630. At the same time, K models appear, with a shortened wheelbase. The K models have three exhaust pipes on the right side of the hood.
