Remarks: Orange rear turn signals of post-1969 model.
In this form it was produced during following years: 1964 Start of production of the W 100 model, which is the successor to the W 189. The first series had red rear turn signals, eight-hole rimms and relatively small headrests, which were optional for the front row. 1969 Facelift. Change of the rear turn signals from red to orange. Rims now have 12 holes instead of eight. Side mirrors and headrests with a different shape than before adapted from the W 108/W 109 model.
